ABOUT US
US
NEUTRO ARCHIVE is a vintage shop and R&D studio based in Turin, Italy. The project revolves around researching and sourcing garments from the 1950s through the early 2000s, focusing on pieces that show authentic wear, aging, and transformation over time.
Our work is influenced by different subcultures and independent scenes, especially those of the ’70s and ’80s, when clothing wasn’t treated as disposable but lived in daily and slowly shaped by the person wearing it. We are interested in garments that carry that history — pieces marked by fading, repairs, and natural deterioration that cannot be artificially recreated.
Each item is individually researched and selected, prioritizing authenticity and character over perfection. Rather than restoring garments to look new, our aim is to preserve their identity and allow their previous life to remain visible.
Alongside the curated archive, Neutro Archive also works as a small design and development space, creating original pieces inspired by vintage garments, workwear, and utilitarian clothing, reinterpreted through the perspective of the archive.
MANIFESTO
We see clothing as something that can move through different lives. When an object stops being useful to one person, it doesn’t mean it has reached its end. Like a cloth that can simply be turned and used again, garments can continue their story with someone new.
Neutro Archive exists around this idea: extending the lifespan of clothing, studying its evolution, and giving garments the possibility of a second cycle.
